Thanks to wii checker got myself a wii fit from argos but you have to be quick and check your emails as much as possible.

I was disappointed to find the Amazon stock at £68 on 19/01/10 was not real!

Hi Carol,

Please be aware that once stock sells out on Amazon, prices revert to Amazon Marketplace. Amazon Marketplace is where 3rd party sellers can sell their own stuff at usually higher that RRP.

As the Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus is currently really difficult to obtain, stock can last only for a very short period of time.

Wii Fit Plus is the replacement for the hugely successful Wii Fit. The original Nintendo Wii Fit was released back in April 2008 and suffered supply issues right from the start. Nintendo's Wii Fit game quickly became the hottest console game with most retailers selling out and ebayers cashing in by selling any stock they could get their hands on.

We too wanted to buy a Wii Console and Wii Fit but is was proving impossible to get hold of stock and I stumbled across several stock checker sites. After signing up for so called email alerts that never arrived we decided to start programming our own stock checker in July 2009 and by August 2009 Wii Checker was born.

Since then the Wii Fit has now been discontinued and the Wii Fit Plus was released at the end of October 2009 and Nintendo appeared to stay on top of demand over Christmas with most retailers carrying stock. Unfortunately, to the back end of December and in to January the Wii Fit Plus has been experiencing out of stock issues which in turn has pushed the prices up on ebay and very nearly kicked off a buying frenzy just like the Wii Fit.

In order to monitor the Wii Fit Plus stock we have now modified Wii Checker to monitor Wii Fit Plus stock availability and prices to ensure you will get the best deal. We have also re-enabled the email alert service should you wish to be kept up to date with the latest availabilty and prices.
